ABOUT US
In 1999 Brother Eddie
Jackson, after singing 17 years with the Canton Spirituals, had a vision to
form and start his own singing group and created the Harmony Echoes of
Jackson, Mississippi. Brother Jackson is an ordained Deacon and
attends North Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. He has always let the
Lord lead him and always trusted in God for guidance in everything he does.
His dedication to Christ is shown throughout his life by his major
accomplishments and achievements. Brother Jackson was presented The Harvey
Watkins, Sr. Legends Award from the Jackson Music Awards Association and won
the 2004 Gospel Explosion Solo Music Award. He called upon a few good
friends and they began traveling to various churches singing God’s praises
near and far.
As time changed the
members changed. In 2003, Brother Gregory Willis formerly of the
Bright Stars of Flint, Michigan joined the Harmony Echoes further enhancing
the musical capabilities and vocal skills of the group. Brother
Princeton Simmons, Brother Richett Miller and Brother Robert Bolden
all teamed up and started letting the Lord use them in a mighty way and they
currently are traveling coast to coast spreading God’s word. They’ve
done two recordings to date releasing "Comfort Me" in 2003 and "We’ve Got To
Make This Journey" in 2007 receiving bookings and taking the group into
Chicago, New York, Kentucky, Iowa, Alabama, Nebraska and Texas just to name
a few.
Today, Eddie Jackson and
the Harmony Echoes can say they have truly been blessed with their musical
gifts by spreading the word of God through music. We ask that you
continue to visit our website and study daily with us God’s word as we may
grow stronger in Christ together. Scriptures change daily so come join
us in learning & studying God’s word through our daily scripture readings.
REMEMBER, WHEN YOU’RE DOWN TO NOTHING,
GOD’S UP TO SOMETHING!
